a vision for downtown eugene

The Eugene Water and Electric Board site is a 27-acre riverfront property located in the heart of downtown Eugene. Currently the property hosts Oregon's largest public utility. The utility company is currently working to determine whether it should relocate part or all of its operations from the Willamette River.

The Arlie & Company vision for the EWEB site, should the utility company relocate, brings together pedestrian-friendly design with retail, office, and residential space; a true mixed-use development. Guided by the Eugene Downtown Plan, adopted by the City Council in 2004, the project aims to connect Eugene to its historic roots with a cultural and historical center at the river's edge. The development of an urban riverfront will create economic health and aesthetic benefits to the city and will be a natural asset to the entire community. Learn more.
